Print-free is the idea that any customer could drop-off a parcel at a Parcelpoint location without the need to print out a label, offering ultimate convenience. Customers will only need to present their booking email for you to scan or search in the Agent Portal.
A high-level overview of the process is as follows:
- Customer presents their booking email
- Search for the parcel in the Agent Portal
- Stick a label from the print-free label roll onto the parcel
- Selects Lodge Return and add the Label Reference in the popup
- Complete lodgement
How it works
If the parcel is a print-free parcel you will see the model below appear when you select the Lodge Return button.
If the customer has bought a parcel in with a label already on it, select the Lodge Return link in the model.
If there is no label on the parcel you will need to do the following steps:
Step 1: Stick a print-free label to the parcel
If you haven't already stuck the label on the parcel, grab a label from the roll of labels Parcelpoint has supplied you, and stick it onto the parcel. Make sure all other labels on the parcel have been removed or marked out.
Step 2: Lodge the parcel
Type the 7 alpha-numerical code (Label Reference) shown on the label into the field on the popup and select the Complete Lodgement button. If the Label Reference is entered correctly the parcel will be lodged.
Tip: If you have a scanner, you can scan the barcode on the label instead of typing the Label Reference.
Step 3: Lodgement complete
Like all other Parcelpoint returns, the customer will receive a lodgement receipt by email and you can put the parcel aside to be picked up by the courier.
